Operations Manager - Fraud Recovery

Location: Office-based in Akron, OH or Columbus, OH

What you will do

• Manage fraud recovery operations for a specified industry grouping or major geographic region through supervisors or subordinate managers.
• Prepare, deliver, and track Hold Harmless and Indemnification agreements to recover bank and customer losses from other financial institutions.
• Support business lines in mitigating and recovering losses related to fraudulent transactions.
• Build relationships and collaborate with other financial institutions to resolve loss recovery matters.
• Establish strategic plans, implement policies and procedures, and guide technology and operational improvements.
• Monitor and report fiscal and production performance for the group or region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7 or more years of experience in banking, fraud investigation, and/or recovery.
• 5 or more years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• PC and internet proficiency, including data analytics and presenting data through dashboards or PowerPoint decks.
