Project Status Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. Onsite role with 10% travel; relocation is not available.

Salary: $101,000.00–$139,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Track NPI material requirements, availability, shortages, inventory, receipts, and long-lead items for R&D and pilot builds.
• Maintain project-level material status using SAP, Excel, MRP/ERP systems, and manufacturing databases.
• Coordinate material status across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Buyers, and business managers.
• Lead material status reviews, communicate shortages and schedule impacts, and follow up on stakeholder commitments.
• Coordinate material transfers, inventory transactions, receipts, and approvals across manufacturing sites.
• Identify supply constraints, assess root causes and schedule impact, and escalate recovery actions to support on-time builds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management and exposure to Operations and Project Management.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of NPI manufacturing, material planning, shortage management, MRP/ERP systems, BOMs, procurement, and inventory processes.
• Advanced Excel skills for tracking and analyzing material readiness against build schedules.
• Ability to coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement and present to small and large groups.
• Must work onsite in Santa Clara, California; 10% travel is required and relocation is not available.
