Senior Compensation Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role in Short Hills, New Jersey. For New Jersey candidates, the role will be based at the future Short Hills headquarters; until it opens, work may be performed at the Branchville, New Jersey location.

Salary: USD 101,000–131,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze internal positions and external compensation surveys to maintain appropriate grade levels and internal equity.
• Update salary structures, guidelines, compensation spreadsheets, systems, and executive compensation data.
• Lead the annual compensation process and coordinate with HRIS to maintain data integrity and accurate reporting.
• Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data, trends, and projections using CompAnalyst.
• Maintain job descriptions, plan documents, and quarterly reports covering turnover, incentive accruals, promotions, interim increases, and awards.
• Monitor compensation programs for compliance with internal policies and legislation, identify challenges, recommend solutions, and deliver compensation training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of compensation experience
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong mathematical, project management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with employees and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with HRIS and HRIS report writing.
• College degree preferred.
