PBM Coordinator, Benefit Configuration

Location: Remote

Salary: $23.00–$27.00 per hour; compensation varies by geographic location, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact for internal inquiries about benefit configuration, formulary management, and plan setup.
• Research and troubleshoot discrepancies in benefit plan documents, formulary files, and configuration settings.
• Configure and maintain benefit plans, copay structures, formulary schedules, coverage rules, and benefit parameters.
• Generate and analyze benefit utilization reports and formulary compliance metrics.
• Collaborate with Account Management, the Contact Center, and the Clinical Team to resolve benefit-specific issues.
• Support daily plan updates, formulary maintenance, complex issue resolution, and documentation accuracy.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of PBM experience in benefits administration or plan configuration.
• Experience with benefit configuration, formulary setup, and plan administration.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve complex issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to analyze benefit utilization and formulary compliance reports.
• Pharmacy Technician or related experience is highly desirable.
