Associate Social Media Video Producer (TODAY Digital)

Location: 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York. Hybrid schedule requiring work from the office at least four days per week.

What you will do

• Lead real-time digital coverage of the 4th Hour of TODAY by clipping, editing, scripting, and publishing high-impact moments.
• Produce social-first content with Jenna Bush Hager, Sheinelle Jones, and celebrity guests in-studio, backstage, and around 30 Rock.
• Develop recurring social franchises, interactive formats, audience callouts, original video ideas, and multi-platform content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and TODAY.com.
• Repurpose segments and guest appearances into social clips, backstage content, quick-turn formats, extended interviews, recaps, and editorial stories.
• Coordinate with broadcast producers, bookers, original video teams, and TODAY.com editorial teams to connect broadcast segments with digital storytelling.
• Use performance data to optimize formats and manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced live production environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in digital production, editing, or multi-platform content within a newsroom, studio, or entertainment environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working directly with on-air talent or celebrity guests, with strong judgment and professionalism.
• Strong video editing skills, preferably using Premiere, along with strong writing skills for social and editorial content.
• Deep understanding of social platforms, formats, audience behavior, and real-time studio production.
• Ability to work from the New York office at least four days per week under the current hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling social franchises or repeatable formats.
• Experience producing or pitching original video series and packaging digital editorial content.
• Background in morning television, lifestyle, or entertainment content.
• Basic iPhone or DSLR shooting skills and light motion graphics experience.
