Project Manager (Water Technology)

Location: Cheektowaga, New York, United States

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, defining scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and success metrics.
• Coordinate activities across departments, manage priorities, resolve roadblocks, and track project milestones.
• Manage project budgets, resources, expenditures, quality standards, audits, and corrective actions.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, maintain risk registers, and develop contingency plans.
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and outcomes to stakeholders, leadership, and project teams.
• Lead post-project reviews, implement lessons learned, and coach team members toward continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or technology environments.
• Experience leading complex projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, resources, and documentation.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and proficiency with Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with data center, critical infrastructure, industrial automation, electrical, construction, manufacturing, or technology projects.
• Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
