Network Architect

Location: Remote, but the candidate must live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Remote work is eligible in Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. Occasional travel to the Tulsa corporate office, secondary datacenters, or remote sites may be required.

Salary: $137,000–$205,000 per year

What you will do

• Gather requirements from business units, Information Security, and IT/OT infrastructure groups.
• Design and implement core LAN/WAN, firewall, load-balancing, wireless, and datacenter network solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and select network technology vendors.
• Develop design documentation, as-built diagrams, network standards, and budget materials.
• Serve as the highest escalation point for troubleshooting hirify.global network infrastructure.
• Communicate project status and strategic recommendations to technical stakeholders and IT leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of networking experience, including at least 3 years leading network design projects.
• Experience with DMZ environments, firewalls, load balancers, enterprise routing, and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying VXLAN leaf/spine and traditional Layer 2 leaf/spine datacenter architectures.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education and job-related experience.
• Must live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area and be able to travel occasionally to company or remote sites.

Nice to have

• Cisco professional- or expert-level certification.
• Knowledge of network programming technologies such as Python, REST, GitHub, and JSON.
