Java Developer (AWS)

Location: Campinas, Brazil; hybrid work with availability to work at the Campinas office three times per week

What you will do

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with Java and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using AWS ECS and consume real-time data streams through AWS Kinesis.
• Implement Change Data Capture with AWS DMS across DB2 and Aurora databases.
• Optimize databases including OpenSearch, Amazon Aurora, IBM DB2, and Amazon Redshift.
• Build data pipelines with AWS S3 and monitor application performance using AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, and Grafana.
• Collaborate on regulatory compliance related to PII, KYC, and AML, and contribute through code reviews and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of AWS ECS, Kinesis, DMS, S3, Redshift, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with Change Data Capture and data management.
• Familiarity with Amazon Aurora, IBM DB2, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, and Grafana, plus knowledge of AWS Lambda and Vanguard FaaS.
• Advanced English required for daily communication with people outside Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience with Control-M for job scheduling and automation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data analytics, and monitoring tools such as Amazon Redshift, Grafana, and Honeycomb.
• Background in regulatory compliance and identity resolution systems.
