What you will do

• Develop and maintain 30+ microservices in Java 11 and Scala to process and aggregate telecommunication and messaging data.
• Optimize pipeline performance to support and scale beyond 10k messages per second.
• Architect services for minimum latency across global regions including the U.S., E.U., Australia, and South America.
• Implement fraud detection processes utilizing Kafka, Kafka Streams, and machine learning.
• Deploy services to multi-cloud Kubernetes environments to achieve 99.999% uptime.
• Execute a high-velocity deployment cycle, pushing code to production multiple times a day.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience with Java and its ecosystem of tooling.
• Practical experience with at least one of the following databases: Cassandra, ClickHouse, or OpenSearch.
• Experience with AI tooling or a strong willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with Scala or other functional programming languages.
• Proficiency with Linux, Git, and Docker within a CI environment.
• Experience designing distributed systems that maintain "five nines" (99.999%) uptime.
