Maintenance Technician II

Location: Onsite in Monterrey, Mexico

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, mixers, reactors, and other chemical processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to restore equipment functionality.
• Assist with installation, calibration, and alignment of new or upgraded equipment.
• Record maintenance activities in the CMMS and monitor equipment performance.
• Respond to breakdowns, coordinate maintenance with production teams, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on equipment reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in the chemical or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in chemical processing.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Basic computer skills for CMMS use and data entry.
• Ability to work onsite in Monterrey, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP PM or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance techniques.
• Basic English reading and writing proficiency.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
