Automation Maintenance Manager (Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead maintenance operations for robotics, bots, conveyors, lifts, controls, and supporting automation infrastructure.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs, work orders, schedules, shift coverage, and CMMS processes.
• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and leads.
• Drive continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, reliability, uptime, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, SRTE, customers, vendors, and subcontractors on repairs and upgrades.
• Lead safety training and observations, maintain documentation and inventory, and uphold 5S standards.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of maintenance, automation, or manufacturing experience, including team supervision.
• Strong electro-mechanical skills and advanced troubleshooting capability.
• Experience with PLCs, servo drives, optical, laser, inductive and capacitive sensors, Rockwell Ethernet automation networks, ABB robots, and mechanical transfer systems.
• Experience with CMMS platforms; Maximo is preferred.
• Fluent business English required.

• Experience with Maximo CMMS.
• Technical team coaching and performance-development experience.

• Full-time, site-based position in a high-volume customer distribution center.
• Up to 10% travel may be required; onboarding and training travel may reach 60%.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car or air to customer locations are required.
• Work includes climbing stairs, working at heights up to 45 feet and in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, and other safety protocols is required.
