Quality Systems Coordinator (Electronics)

Location: Tucson, Arizona, US; remote-hybrid with up to 50% travel

Salary: $88,000–$118,000 base compensation annually, plus benefits and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for an R&D-focused site.
• Develop, review, and control quality procedures, work instructions, templates, specifications, standards, and quality records.
• Integrate quality requirements across design planning, inputs, reviews, verification, validation, changes, and outputs.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate external certification and customer quality audits through effective closure.
• Coordinate CAPA activities, facilitate root cause investigations, and verify corrective-action effectiveness.
• Train engineering staff on quality processes, ISO 9001 requirements, documentation, traceability, and process discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, or Engineering within an electronics or technology development environment.
• Experience maintaining an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System and supporting engineering or product development teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, electronics product development, engineering change management, document control, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and process mapping.
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with engineering and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

Nice to have

• Internal auditing experience.
• Knowledge of IPC and IEC standards, PLM systems, or electronic document management systems.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor, ASQ CQA, ASQ CQE, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
