Quality Management Systems Manager

Location: Beaverton, OR, United States. The role is subject to U.S. Government export control regulations; candidates must be U.S. Persons or be prepared to collaborate on obtaining the required export authorizations.

Salary: $104,300–$193,700 per year in local currency.

What you will do

• Lead the Quality Management System team and maintain QMS effectiveness across Tektronix Component Solutions.
• Own internal and external audit programs, certification activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Manage document control, records management, quality governance, management reviews, metrics, and performance monitoring.
• Lead CAPA, containment, root-cause investigations, risk assessments, and systemic problem-solving initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Quality, and Regulatory teams to deploy quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional readiness activities to obtain and sustain DLA certification and drive digital QMS transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive Quality Management System leadership experience.
• Broad experience across manufacturing quality, process engineering, supplier quality, customer quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or comparable quality management system standards and auditing practices.
• Experience leading audits, management reviews, corrective action programs, compliance initiatives, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, Power BI, or Excel.

Nice to have

• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, AS9100, or an equivalent standard.
• Experience managing external certification, regulatory, or customer audit programs.
• ASQ CMQ/OE, CQA, or CQE certification.
• Experience implementing enterprise-wide quality improvements and digital quality transformation initiatives.
