Receiving Specialist (Data Center Operations)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee or Southaven, Mississippi, United States. Onsite work in warehouse and data center environments. Availability required for rotating 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM or 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays.

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, verify, transact, label, and stage high-value materials and equipment, including servers, GPUs, networking gear, power systems, and cooling infrastructure.
• Process receipts, holds, and exceptions in ERP/WMS systems and maintain accurate incoming shipment documentation.
• Check part numbers, quantities, specifications, paperwork, and shipment condition, documenting non-conformances when required.
• Coordinate with carriers, purchasing, internal customers, and other departments to resolve delivery discrepancies and delays.
• Perform cycle counts, review stagnant inventory, and maintain location accuracy in receiving and staging areas.
• Support kitting, material flow, return shipments, and reverse logistics for construction and operations teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing, or a receiving role.
• Experience with ERP systems, WMS processes, and scanning equipment is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment according to safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and stand or walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to work the required rotating 4-on/3-off and 3-on/4-off schedule supporting 24/7 operations.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, technology, or data center environments.
• Experience controlling nonconforming hardware and related processes.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
