Software Engineer, Front End - Policy (Hybrid)

Location: USA - Remote, WA; occasional travel required for in-person meetings

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants

What you will do

• Build and maintain the Falcon platform user interface and policy framework for endpoint sensor configuration.
• Develop reusable policy pages and components for integration by multiple product teams.
• Own features from design through delivery, including automated testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, cloud engineers, product managers, and SDETs to align on shared infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote accessibility, performance, and scalable component architecture.
• Improve developer productivity, influence the product roadmap and technical architecture, and use AI tools in development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building features for web applications.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with experience using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong HTML and CSS fundamentals.
• Experience with testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Comfort using AI tools in development and proven experience applying AI technologies to improve workflows and efficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with D3, ThreeJS, Ember CLI, Webpack, WebSockets, or real-time web services.
• Open source contribution experience.
• Experience with UI performance measurement, optimization, and web accessibility testing.
