What you will do

• Manage an assigned portfolio of loan and deposit relationships with small business clients.
• Develop new banking relationships and service the existing business banking client base.
• Partner with branches and referral sources to generate sales and cross-sell banking products.
• Evaluate credit requests, recommend loan structures, and manage lending risk.
• Negotiate with underwriters and clients to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
• Manage approximately 15–40 relationship-managed clients and pursue revenue, loan, deposit, and portfolio targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or at least four years of related sales or banking experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements and tax returns.
• Sound credit skills for evaluating loan requests and structuring financing.
• Knowledge of personal computers and departmental software.
• Understanding of cash management, merchant services, and trade services products.
• Strong interpersonal, sales, and presentation skills.
