Quality Control & Safety Manager

Location: On-site at the customer site in Washington, DC, USA; availability on-site within one hour after the client's regular working hours is required.

Salary: USD 12,000–145,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and oversee quality programs for contract services.
• Prepare, enforce, and maintain the customer-site safety program.
• Verify work standards, timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of work areas, job sites, and work crews to verify safe operations.
• Oversee audits, monthly reporting, findings validation, and corrective or preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection and surveillance records and submit required safety documentation, including Safety Data Sheets and the Hazard Communication Plan.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience preparing and enforcing QMS and safety programs for facility maintenance workforces in a multi-site federal facility totaling at least 1.7 million square feet.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Fully conversant in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to oversee compliance, inspections, and reporting.
• Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements.

Nice to have

• Current OSHA 30-hour construction safety training or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree.
