Senior Manager, Protective Services

Location: Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Miami, FL; Atlanta, GA; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Charlotte, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Nashville, TN; Omaha, NE; or Tampa, FL. The role involves regular travel, including short-notice travel, and recurring in-person protective duties.

What you will do

• Lead protective operations, including staffing, assignments, resourcing, protective decisions, and response.
• Build training, qualification, readiness, and operating standards for a deployable protective team.
• Manage vendors and suppliers, including procurement, approval thresholds, and service standards.
• Serve as the escalation point for protective incidents and make real-time decisions on protection and resources.
• Coordinate converged physical-cyber protection with Protective Intelligence and Cyber Protective Services.
• Build trusted relationships with protected people, their families, and partner teams while reducing operational friction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in protective, security, or military operations, including 5+ years managing people with hands-on protective operations responsibility.
• Experience building or scaling protective capabilities and establishing standards, qualifications, and procedures.
• Experience managing multiple protective disciplines or programs, including cost, methods, staffing, and other leads.
• Operational knowledge of network security concepts, access control, surveillance, residential security technology, and physical-cyber risk.
• Sound judgment in fast-moving, high-consequence situations, discretion with sensitive information, and cross-functional work with intelligence, cybersecurity, legal, and business teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 35%, with peaks near 50%, respond to serious events outside working hours, meet physical readiness requirements, and work irregular hours in demanding conditions. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
