Director Cybersecurity Operations (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead the global security operations center and define its operating model, maturity roadmap, performance objectives, and continuous improvement program.
• Own enterprise incident response strategy, including playbooks, escalation paths, exercises, executive communications, and major incident coordination.
• Partner with XDR, managed security, and incident response providers to ensure continuous detection and response coverage, clear service levels, and accountability.
• Lead cybersecurity engineering teams managing endpoint, network, cloud, identity, and email security platforms across the global environment.
• Modernize operations through SOAR automation, AI-enabled analyst workflows, SIEM optimization, telemetry management, and detection engineering.
• Build and develop global engineering and operations teams while reporting operational metrics and measurable risk reduction to executives and the board.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including 5 years leading security operations, incident response, or security engineering functions.
• Experience leading global teams across engineering and operations disciplines.
• Experience directing enterprise incident response, including major incident command and coordination with external partners, legal counsel, and executive leadership.
• Experience managing XDR, MSSP, or managed detection and response providers, including contracts, service levels, and performance.
• Enterprise-scale experience with SOAR and SIEM technologies, telemetry onboarding, detection engineering, and automation.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, modern security operations, AI-enabled workflows, and executive-level communication.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GCED, or an equivalent certification.
• Experience leading a large-scale security operations center or managed detection and response function.
