Senior AI Engineer (GenAI)

Location: Remote from Argentina, Brazil, or Uruguay

What you will do

• Build AI-powered tools, internal assistants, and copilots across the software development lifecycle, including code generation, code reviews, testing, documentation, and infrastructure-as-code generation.
• Research, benchmark, and deploy generative AI solutions such as LLMs, RAG pipelines, and code-generation tools.
• Develop AI-driven platform capabilities including cost-aware autoscaling, predictive incident resolution, and automated root cause analysis.
• Integrate intelligent automation into internal developer platforms in collaboration with Platform, SRE, and DevOps teams.
• Identify operational friction, evaluate new AI approaches, and share results through workshops and internal demonstrations.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and Bash or Go for AI, internal tooling, and cloud infrastructure development.
• Practical experience implementing LLMs and code-generation tools such as Codex, Claude, StarCoder, or GPT models in software workflows.
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle and modern CI/CD automation systems.
• Research-driven approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain complex AI solutions to technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG architectures, prompt engineering, or custom model fine-tuning.
• Experience building or scaling Internal Developer Platforms.
• Published research, open-source contributions, or AI projects related to software quality, deployment safety, or observability.
