Electrical Systems Test Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Execute vehicle electrical system test plans to validate system-level electrical architecture and identify design weaknesses through stress testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define testing strategies and establish pass/fail criteria.
• Set up the required laboratory and vehicle test equipment and ensure accurate data capture.
• Review and analyze test data, escalating anomalous results to the appropriate engineering teams.
• Support system integration, bring-up, and debugging of bucks, lab cars, and prototype vehicles.
• Investigate electrical systems issues, determine root causes, and implement resolutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience working with systems or electronics.
• High technical competence in electrical engineering and the ability to apply electrical first principles to solve problems.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, DAQs, DMMs, function generators, power supplies, electronic loads, and related laboratory equipment.
• Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings, with an understanding of automotive low-voltage electrical systems.
• English proficiency at C1–C2 level required.
