Senior Associate, IT, Network Engineer (12 Month Contract)

What you will do

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures using VPNs, VPCs, virtual networks, and load balancers.
• Provision and manage network resources across AWS, Azure, and Cisco Meraki environments.
• Implement network security controls including firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, and compliance measures.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize network stability, availability, and efficiency.
• Integrate cloud environments with on-premises infrastructure and manage automation, scripting, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain network documentation and collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders on incidents, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting network infrastructure in AWS and Azure is required.
• Professional IT experience with network and security engineering, including TCP/IP, VLAN, WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, IPsec, TLS, NAT, PAT, VPN, BGP, and OSPF.
• 3+ years of experience in an L2 IT Support capacity.
• Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, Layer 3 devices, and access points, particularly Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet.
• Experience with Wi-Fi administration, Microsoft Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, VMware vSphere, and SAN systems.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP and relevant Azure or AWS certifications.
• Experience with cloud-based networking, particularly AWS and Azure.
• ITIL certification.
• HPE 3PAR experience.
