TL;DR
HSE Manager (Manufacturing): Designing and implementing HSE management systems and risk-prevention programs at a manufacturing plant with an accent on ISO 14001, ISO 45001, regulatory compliance, and operational safety. Focus on investigating incidents, coordinating audits and training, defining prevention KPIs, and maintaining compliance with national and international standards.
Location: Tetla, Mexico; plant-based role with availability to attend audits, training sessions, and visits in different regions of Mexico

What you will do
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the HSE Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, supervise follow-up actions, and ensure compliance with corporate protocols and STPS regulations.
- Define HSE KPIs and accident-prevention strategies, including annual safety and environmental plans.
- Coordinate annual HSE training and promote a behavior-based safety culture through teamwork and communication.
- Manage HSE-related suppliers, stop activities that pose health risks, and represent the company before authorities and the media when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- More than 10 years of HSE management experience in industrial environments.
- Specialization in safety, occupational health, and environmental management systems.
- Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and legal compliance requirements.
- Internal auditor certification for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001, with proficiency in interpreting and implementing ISO standards.
- Strategic leadership, decision-making, effective communication, analytical thinking, proactivity, time management, and results orientation.
