What you will do

• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate Maintenance Technicians to ensure safe work practices and high-quality execution.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Oversee the execution of Preventive Maintenance work orders in compliance with technical standards.
• Identify and implement small-scale engineering improvements to increase equipment reliability and safety.
• Provide technical oversight for mechanical contractors and maintain 5S standards in the workshop and utility areas.
• Ensure strict adherence to LOTO, work permits, and EHS policies across all maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in supervisory industrial maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission (gearboxes, pumps, motors).
• Proven experience with LOTO and managing high-risk work permits.
• English: Intermediate level required (technical reading and participation in meetings).
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Monterrey, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP PM for work orders, workflows, and history analysis.
• Experience implementing 5S systems and TPM in maintenance environments.
• Project experience in equipment installation and commissioning.
• Basic knowledge of predictive maintenance tools like vibration analysis and thermography.
• Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone).
