Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Lead or support sustaining engineering projects from initiation through completion.
• Integrate transferred processes and develop, improve, and troubleshoot mechanical device manufacturing processes.
• Design and implement production fixtures, tooling, and inspection equipment.
• Plan capacity, equipment, labor, space, maintenance, production performance, and corrective actions.
• Support manufacturing transfers to a new site, including cycle-time estimation, production routers, process instructions, and bills of materials.
• Complete process validations including IQ, OQ, PQ, and TMV while verifying or validating process and specification changes.

Requirements

• Professional degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, Lean methodologies, project implementation, and new manufacturing tools.
• Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency required.
• Experience with materials and design changes, validations, line balancing, and manufacturing process development.
• Ability to provide technical and safety guidance or mentoring and work with customers and suppliers.
