Commodity Manager/Buyer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Develop and execute long-term, market-based sourcing strategies for facility management, real estate, and utilities.
• Lead sourcing activities, RFP processes, negotiation plans, and contract implementation for assigned commodity groups.
• Evaluate facility management equipment and systems to optimize total operating costs.
• Identify, qualify, rank, and select suppliers while managing performance across quality, cost, delivery, service, and technology support.
• Drive cost reduction, alternate sourcing, supply assurance, and risk mitigation initiatives with stakeholders.
• Report market trends, benchmark data, cost roadmaps, actuals, and KPI visibility to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Strong communication, analytical, presentation, negotiation, collaboration, and coordination skills.
• Ability to communicate and present to executive management and leadership.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Business ethics and integrity; SAP experience is preferred.
