Automotive Service Technician Associate II (Automotive)

What you will do

• Maintain and repair a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Diagnose vehicle issues using supplied hardware and software and accurately document findings and time.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams about electrical, electronic, and autonomous control systems.
• Validate DAT, ADAS, AV, and EV system functionality.
• Complete engineering support tasks in small teams and follow documented work instructions.
• Track parts and supplies and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and two years of employment experience.
• Professional vehicle maintenance experience, preferably in a garage environment.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving-record and vehicle-operator safety requirements, including drug and criminal background screening.
• Ability to travel up to 15% for training or support at other office locations.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Experience creating, modifying, and installing wiring systems and harnesses.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles, active safety equipment, control-module flashing, CAN bus operation, and vehicle integration software.
• Experience with data collection and oscilloscopes or Picoscopes.
• Knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Gmail.
