Melter/Pourer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Franklin, NH facility, United States. First shift runs Monday–Thursday, 2:50 AM–2:20 PM, with overtime as needed.

What you will do

• Start up, set up, and operate the automatic pour machine, including hand pouring.
• Use an overhead crane to recharge furnaces.
• Inspect the pour and recharge enclosure before starting the process.
• Analyze and correct simple system failures and report mechanical malfunctions to maintenance or the supervisor.
• Communicate with charger and molding machine operators while reducing scrap and preventing serious problems.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and complete additional duties assigned by the production supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Previous melting experience is preferred.
• SPC charting is required.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures using sound judgment.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the manufacturing floor, lift and carry up to 35 pounds, and use required personal protective equipment.
