Product Manager IV (Electric Transmission)

Salary: $132,240–$208,800 USD gross annually

What you will do

• Lead the strategic vision and product strategy for assigned products and services in the Electric Transmission organization.
• Act as Product Owner and Process Analyst for a solution supporting Large Load and Electric Transmission Generation programs.
• Define platform functionality from scope and requirements gathering through design, build, testing, and implementation.
• Create product roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and executable delivery plans with technology leaders and teams.
• Collaborate with vendors, CAISO, Sales, Marketing, internal teams, and external stakeholders to shape product capabilities and adoption.
• Research industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluate products against business and technical requirements, and provide strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant technical experience, including at least 3 years supporting or managing assigned products or services.
• Experience in a utility, energy, communications, high-tech, or aerospace environment.
• In-depth technical expertise and experience with product design, build, testing, product development, requirements gathering, and market intelligence.
• Experience working in regulatory or compliance environments and improving product or process efficiency.
• Strong judgment, analytical and critical-thinking skills, relationship-building ability, and communication with external partners.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Recognized IT industry expertise related to assigned products or services.
• Experience leading product teams.
