Technician - Assembly, Process Group (Optoelectronics)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for automated and manual assembly of optoelectronic devices, including epoxy dispensing, wire bonding, sealing, and marking.
• Qualify production equipment after maintenance or repairs and participate in equipment selection, acquisition, and qualification.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated process control mechanisms.
• Develop, qualify, transfer, and experimentally improve manufacturing processes.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using Six Sigma, communicate results, train production personnel, and support project timelines.

Requirements

• College diploma in mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, engineering physics technology, industrial automation technology, or an equivalent field.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing or production process support.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and statistical process control; Green Belt certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
• French proficiency, spoken and written, is required for the francophone work environment.
• English proficiency, spoken and written, is required for technical and international communications.
