Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada. In-person onboarding in Toronto is required for all go-to-market roles; occasional travel to offsites, department meetings, customer events, and industry events may be required.

Salary: $75,000–$105,000 USD annual base for US-based roles, or $71,000–$99,000 CAD annual base for Canada-based roles. Commission-eligible.

What you will do

• Advise SMB customers on security and access solutions throughout the sales cycle.
• Partner with Account Executives and lead technical discovery with IT, security, development, DevOps, and CISO stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Endpoint Privilege Management, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust as an integrated solution.
• Run proof-of-value engagements for developer environments, cloud-native workloads, automation, and AI workflows.
• Support competitive evaluations involving privileged access management, secrets management, and SaaS security platforms.
• Prepare security questionnaires, compliance responses, RFPs/RFIs, demos, playbooks, and customer-facing enablement materials.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role, ideally in B2B SaaS or a similar environment.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong presentation, storytelling, technical discovery, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
• Experience with security and identity concepts such as credential management, privileged access, secrets management, SSO, SCIM, or OAuth/OIDC is preferred.
• Understanding of developer and DevSecOps workflows, including CI/CD, containers, cloud infrastructure, service accounts, and API credentials, is preferred.
