Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Home office in New York; the role is also listed for New York, Philadelphia, and Boston

What you will do

• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective customers.
• Support the sales team as the primary technical expert throughout the pre-sales cycle.
• Develop solutions to complex customer security challenges.
• Build relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute technical expertise to team goals and sales approaches.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of relevant experience or equivalent, ideally in cybersecurity or a technical sales environment.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solution-focused discussions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day direction.
• Good judgment when evaluating approaches and recommending solutions.
• Must have the right to work in the United States location to which the application is submitted.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SANS credentials.
• Hands-on experience with DLP, DSPM, or NGFW technologies.
• Familiarity with AI fundamentals related to data protection.
