Lead Full Stack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with office attendance 1–2 days per week; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Dallas, TX, Chicago Metro, DC Metro, or the Louisville area. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required.

Salary: $129,300–$177,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the Member Experience Portal across cloud infrastructure, APIs, microservices, GraphQL services, databases, and web and mobile experiences.
• Mentor and coach engineers across Agile Scrum teams while promoting ownership, accountability, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
• Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, technical design sessions, and career development discussions.
• Establish reusable architecture and engineering standards for microfrontends, API-first development, test automation, CI/CD, observability, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and agentic AI for code generation, documentation, testing, and delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, UX, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver personalized member experiences and enterprise integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 or more years of software development experience.
• Tech-lead-level proficiency in one or more programming languages, including JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with backend technologies such as .NET, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, or Node.js.
• Experience with JSON, RESTful web services, client-server interactions, and highly scalable websites using technologies such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.
• Knowledge of Azure or an equivalent cloud provider, plus environment management and orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Docker, or AKS.
• Ability to work in the specified hybrid arrangement and maintain a dedicated workspace with internet speeds of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

Nice to have

• React Native or mobile application development experience.
• Experience with AI or agentic AI and code generation tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot.
