Sterility Assurance Microbiologist (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Perform sterility assurance activities within the microbiology team.
• Prepare and process biological indicators and carry out environmental monitoring in classified areas.
• Support heat studies, environmental monitoring projects, and atypical sterilisation investigations.
• Investigate and communicate out-of-specification results and identify and implement CAPA.
• Maintain compliance with EU GMP, EHS, GDP, company policies, and external regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the sterility engineering team, laboratory analysts, and manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Bioscience, or Pharmaceutical Science.
• Experience working where accuracy, numeracy, clear documentation, and attention to detail are essential.
• Availability for Monday-to-Friday working, 37.5 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends according to business needs.
