Lab Technician - Method Validation (Biotech): Supporting laboratory scientists by maintaining laboratory operations, preparing analytical buffers, and managing reagents and consumables with an accent on GMP compliance, inventory control, and laboratory readiness. Focus on performing routine instrument maintenance, coordinating deliveries, and sustaining safe, organised, and compliant laboratory services.
Location: Slough, United Kingdom; lab-based onsite role

What you will do
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping, routine instrument maintenance, and reagent and consumable stock checks.
- Prepare analytical buffers according to laboratory methods and operational processes.
- Manage analytical method consumables inventory, including stock locations and points of use.
- Order reagents and consumables through the Warehouse Management System or external suppliers.
- Process departmental deliveries, ensuring timely receipt, correct storage, and stakeholder notification.
- Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines while supporting 6S, IMS, GMP training, and laboratory quality standards.
Requirements
- College qualification or qualification in a quality-related discipline.
- Ability and willingness to learn from experience and adapt to change.
- Readiness to take on new challenges and use errors as learning opportunities.
- Commitment to process improvement and problem solving.
- Ability to work onsite in the Slough laboratory.
- Adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practice, quality requirements, and laboratory procedures.
