Industrial Operations Manager (High-Technology Manufacturing)

Location: France; contract location: On-site in Switzerland. Workplace is also listed as remote. Shift work includes day, night, and weekend shifts.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations in a complex high-technology manufacturing environment.
• Monitor production KPIs, analyze performance gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
• Coordinate production, technical, maintenance, and support teams to maintain operational continuity.
• Manage production capacity, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coach team leaders and develop operational teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis, bottleneck reduction, audits, and cross-functional continuous-improvement projects.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent higher technical education.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations management.
• At least 3 years of experience in high-precision, electronics, advanced manufacturing, or a comparable industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, complex production flows, production KPIs, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading production teams and developing frontline managers or team leaders.
• Fluent French and professional working English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial maintenance, production reliability, or similar technical operations.
