Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: On-site in Trenton, New Jersey, 5 days per week. Third shift: 10:00pm–6:00am.

Salary: $34.90 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment using diagrams, manuals, schematics, precision instruments, and observation.
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, remove defective parts, and adjust mechanical components and controls.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment, including milling machines, drill presses, lathes, and welding tools.
• Manage maintenance parts and supplies inventory and document work, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeyman license or certification preferred, or equivalent experience performing complex mechanical work in industrial maintenance.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work the required third shift on-site schedule.
