Survey Field Technician (Land Surveying)

What you will do

• Assist with field surveys collecting data on land features, boundaries, and topography.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and set up Trimble GPS units, robotic equipment, levels, and other survey tools.
• Record field data, notes, and measurements accurately for project deliverables.
• Assist with survey reports, maps, and drawings based on collected data.
• Work with the Survey Crew Chief and field crew to complete daily project tasks.
• Travel to project sites, work outdoors across varying terrain and weather conditions, and follow required safety practices.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in land surveying, construction layout, or a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of GPS, total stations, data collectors, or similar surveying equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift, walk long distances, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
