SBA Workout Officer II (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage workouts for assigned adversely rated and delinquent SBA and commercial loan accounts.
• Analyze financial statements, collateral, budgets, business plans, and other account information to develop recovery recommendations.
• Communicate workout decisions and negotiate repayment terms and conditions with borrowers, principals, attorneys, accountants, and consultants.
• Prepare, review, and finalize workout agreements while coordinating with internal stakeholders and outside attorneys.
• Monitor compliance with workout agreements and implement liquidation plans, including foreclosures, asset seizures, auctions, and third-party asset sales.
• Present recommendations and account analyses to department management for approval and adjust plans as required.

Requirements

• Associate's degree.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Strong credit analysis skills and the ability to interpret complex financial statements.
• Familiarity with complex commercial loans and in-depth knowledge of workout strategies and techniques.
• Strong negotiation and written and verbal communication skills.
• PC skills and the ability to work independently.
