Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Onsite positions available at offices in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Nashville, Lenexa, Denver, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Houston, New York City, Bentonville, Washington D.C., Dallas, and Philadelphia, United States

Salary: $25.20–$27.30/hour in Las Vegas; $26.40–$28.60/hour in Denver; $27.84–$30.16/hour in Los Angeles and Washington D.C.; $29.28–$31.72/hour in New York

What you will do

• Perform basic engineering calculations and assist with building systems design under supervision.
• Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, reports, plans, and construction documents.
• Support drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Assist with selecting basic equipment and system components.
• Coordinate project information with other engineering disciplines.
• Attend technical training, internship meetings, and company-sponsored activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field at an ABET-accredited university.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and task-management skills.
• Ability to work onsite, operate standard office equipment, and occasionally travel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified.

Nice to have

• Coursework or experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or other computer-aided drafting software.
• Drafting certification or previous internship experience.
• Practical building systems engineering experience and knowledge of industry codes and standards.
