O&M EC&I Technician

What you will do

• Install, inspect, calibrate, and repair instrumentation, analysers, and control systems.
• Maintain motors, generators, turbine controls, and auxiliary plant equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and DCS control systems and associated circuits.
• Plan and perform maintenance using schematics, technical drawings, and OEM manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship in electrical engineering or instrumentation.
• Solid experience as an EC&I or instrumentation technician.
• Experience in industrial, power generation, or process environments.
• Strong knowledge of transmitters, valves, analysers, and calibration.
• Experience with PLC and DCS systems and a good understanding of safe plant operations and HSE requirements.
• IOSH Managing Safely or a similar safety qualification; ongoing professional development is expected.

Nice to have

• HNC or HND in Engineering.
• Technical training in instrumentation, automation, or control systems.
