What you will do

• Obtain, verify, and follow up on insurance authorizations and eligibility for scheduled radiology exams.
• Contact insurance companies to secure prior authorizations and predeterminations for provider-ordered exams.
• Verify that patient insurance information matches the carrier’s database.
• Maintain CPT code authorization files based on managed care contracts.
• Enter authorization data accurately and apply CPT codes to match approved exams.
• Coordinate with supervisors, modality protocol staff, clinical managers, and technologists on complex cases and workflow accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for a full-time day/first shift schedule of 30 or more hours per week.
