Senior Data Business Analyst

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for new and enhanced data feeds.
• Define data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and validation requirements for a centralized data platform.
• Collaborate with solution architects, information security teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors throughout delivery.
• Support testing activities, comparison testing, dual-running, defect investigation, and issue resolution.
• Validate delivered data against reporting, analytics, and operational requirements with business subject-matter experts.
• Maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, process documentation, and requirements specifications.

Requirements

• 5–6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on data-focused projects.
• Experience with data integration, data warehouses, data platforms, or reporting initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data extraction, reconciliation, validation, and data quality processes.
• Experience supporting testing, defect management, and issue resolution.
• Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise data warehouse or data platform projects.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and information security principles.
• Experience supporting reporting and analytics environments.
• Familiarity with complex, large-scale data transformation initiatives.
