TL;DR
Cybersecurity Liaison (Federal Cybersecurity): Advising federal agency CIOs and CISOs on cybersecurity policy, audits, information assurance, and enterprise security services with an accent on FISMA, NIST 800-53, RMF, FedRAMP, and SA&A activities. Focus on coordinating security initiatives, performing risk assessments, maintaining system documentation, and ensuring systems achieve and retain accreditation.

What you will do
- Advise agency CIOs, CISOs, and non-technical stakeholders on cybersecurity concepts, policies, and information assurance.
- Coordinate IT security audits and the implementation of federal cybersecurity policies, mandates, executive orders, directives, and OMB memoranda.
- Facilitate communication between Department OCIO and agencies to improve security posture.
- Develop and implement security operating models and procedures tailored to organizational needs.
- Oversee ISSO security assessment and authorization activities, including ATT/ATO schedules and JCAM data validation.
- Perform risk assessments, maintain information system documentation, and advise on system implementation and decommissioning requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent additional relevant experience.
- Active CISSP or equivalent high-level cybersecurity certification such as CISM, CEH, or CASP.
- At least four years of experience supporting a large federal agency with FISMA, NIST 800-53, RMF, FedRAMP, SA&A, security audits, vulnerability and POA&M remediation, executive orders, directives, BODs, and OMB cyber memoranda.
- Hands-on experience using JCAM and familiarity with vulnerability management, vulnerability scanning, endpoint management, data protection, SIEM, and GRC automation platforms.
- Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
- Expert-level English communication skills and experience working with CIO- and CISO-level stakeholders.

- Experience leading or participating in FISMA, FISCAM, OIG, or IRS security audits.
