Security Engineer (FedRAMP/GovCloud)

Salary: $139,000–$249,260 base salary, with potential additional bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and application security testing.
• Conduct product security reviews, threat modeling, secure coding reviews, and application and infrastructure security assessments.
• Assess security risks, define remediation actions, and review access to critical systems and data.
• Partner with security, engineering, and product teams to implement security and privacy requirements.
• Support security incident monitoring, detection, response, and investigation.
• Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery testing, while maintaining security awareness communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or privacy.
• Strong experience with security assessments, vulnerability management, secure software development, application security, and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of security risks and controls across applications, data, infrastructure, mobile, and enterprise systems, preferably in AWS or enterprise environments.
• Experience managing security incidents and business continuity testing.
• Experience implementing SOC 2, FedRAMP, ITAR, ISO 27000, GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent security and privacy standards.
