Head of Compliance (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and implement robust AML/CTF and compliance frameworks for hirify.global Europe.
• Ensure the company operates within regulatory permissions and maintains an effective control environment.
• Manage day-to-day compliance and AML functions while providing strategic regulatory risk advice to the Board.
• Lead regulatory engagement and manage remediation of findings.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring programs.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for PCF-12 & PCF 52 Central Bank of Ireland approval.
• Extensive experience in compliance and AML/CTF within regulated financial services, payments, or crypto businesses.
• Proven expertise in managing KYC, CDD, EDD, STRs, sanctions, and transaction monitoring.
• Experience building and implementing compliance frameworks and conducting risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of the European regulatory environment.
• Ability to present complex technical concepts to senior management and Boards.

Nice to have

• Direct experience dealing with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) or equivalent regulators.
• Previous experience as an MLRO or DMLRO.
