World Class Manufacturing Trainee

Location: Rubiera, Italy; onsite at hirify.global Carta Spa. Six-month full-time curricular internship.

What you will do

• Support production process cells with daily management and recurrence management.
• Participate in World Class Manufacturing improvement teams, pillars, and Kaizen activities focused on Lean principles.
• Analyze factory losses, identify countermeasures, and suggest improvements to reduce material waste and increase production efficiency.
• Support production-process KPIs through planning, control, and tracking.
• Develop data acquisition and analysis systems and use benchmarks to standardize processes and implement best practices.
• Provide administrative support and help organize presentations for internal and external auditors while collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, and Customer Service.

Requirements

• Active Master's student status is required in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a similar field.
• Eligibility to work in Italy for the entire six-month internship is required.
• Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken, are required.
• Availability for a six-month, full-time, temporary curricular internship, with the option to develop a master's thesis during the internship.
• Advanced MS Office skills, good data modelling, data analysis, and data visualization competence.
• Basic project management and Lean principles knowledge, with a structured, organized, systematic, independent, and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of BI tools, especially Power BI.
