Industrial Engineer

Location: Italy; hybrid work arrangement. The position is primarily based in Turin and may be associated with sites in Settimo Torinese, Peschiera Borromeo, and San Pietro Mosezzo.

Salary: €33,000–€45,000 gross per year.

What you will do

• Plan and engineer the European road network, primarily focusing on Italy and supporting other Southern and Eastern European countries.
• Work on complex international and domestic road-network planning activities.
• Support air-network optimization initiatives by assessing impacts and enablers across the road network.
• Lead or support cross-functional regional projects involving process improvements and network setup changes.
• Present complex topics and recommendations to senior and executive management.
• Prioritize internal customer needs and complete assigned work independently after the initial 6–9 months of training.

Requirements

• Mandatory engineering degree completed over five years.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in transport or logistics companies.
• English at B2 level with strong speaking, listening, and writing skills is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, numerical, planning, and organizational skills with a data-driven and structured approach.
• Experience managing multi-layer plans and balancing operational costs against service levels.
• Experience with cross-functional project management, senior-level presentations, influencing, and persuasion.

• Specific professional accreditation.
• Knowledge of Eastern European languages.
• Public speaking and difficult-conversation management skills.
