Lead Product Manager - Data

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of data products or a complex, high-impact data product area.
• Lead discovery to understand user needs, business challenges, and future opportunities.
• Translate complex data and technical concepts into business value and actionable product plans.
• Prioritise roadmaps and backlogs based on customer impact, business value, strategic alignment, and delivery capacity.
• Partner with Data Engineering, BI, Governance, Architecture, and Delivery teams to deliver trusted, high-quality data products.
• Establish OKRs and adoption metrics, promote product-led ways of working, and identify opportunities to use data, analytics, and AI.

Requirements

• Significant Product Management experience owning complex products, platforms, or portfolios.
• Strong experience with data products, analytics, reporting platforms, or data services.
• Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes across the full product lifecycle.
• Strong prioritisation, problem-framing, stakeholder management, communication, and commercial skills.
• Extensive experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, privacy, regulatory considerations, and experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.

Hiring process

• Initial 30-minute Teams call with members of the Data Team.
• Second-stage one-hour face-to-face interview with the hiring team, including competency questions.
• Successful candidates undergo credit, CIFAS, Right to Work, and, where applicable, DBS checks.
