Branch Manager (Business Banking)

What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, sales, business development, operations, transactions, servicing, and customer experience.
• Lead, coach, develop, interview, and select branch employees while managing performance and staffing decisions.
• Identify retail and business banking needs and grow business banking relationships through proactive outreach and community engagement.
• Resolve complex account servicing and error-resolution issues, taking ownership until customer issues are fully resolved.
• Process business banking loan requests up to $250,000 and bundle products and services appropriately.
• Maintain operational, security, compliance, audit, fraud-prevention, and internal-control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Ability to use common PC software, including Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and email.
• Must work at the Gambrills, Maryland branch location.
